Agreed in concept with the team

Proposals, need approval

  1. 1
Sorters work on desktop in two steps. Backstock - Bring in to Photograph, and Fulfill

Step 1 puts the items in the box. Step 2 is “Check AI, price, sticker”. Items with no photos go through the mobile app and the overnight AI between the two steps. Items that already have photos, like bin overflow, go straight to step 2.

  2. 2
The Backstock label is printed when the box is closed, and reprinted when items leave. Backstock - Label the box

The count is only known once the box is full. Today the label goes on before filling and has no count.

  3. 3
“Fulfill the right amount”: the items left over stay in the same Backstock box. Backstock - Hold

Today, scanning a box adds every item in it.

  4. 4
“Verify”: if the whole box goes, confirm the count. If only part goes, scan each item that leaves. Backstock - Hold
  5. 5
“Store label” in your three cases. Everyday - Label the box, and Backstock - Hold

Usual: the open Fulfillment box, as today. Backstock in the system: the same box if it all goes, the open Fulfillment box if only part goes. Backstock not in the system: item by item, like usual.
